Last night I gave what I am mentally referring to as the “talk” and Inglis Street Elementary. Nice building, nice people. Only three parents made it out to the Home and School meeting this night. We are encouraging everyone, parents and citizens, to write the Imagine Our Schools people about their concerns, but that they should also :CC Howard Windsor (HRSB Administrator), the area MLAs, the area HRM Councilors, and the Minister of Education. –more–
I went to a meeting last week. HRSB wants to have 4 elementary schools on the peninsula of Halifax, each about 750 kids. The first would be operational by the time Emma was in 6th grade and would replace Le Marchant St Thomas, St Mary’s, Inglis Street schools.
