The Centre Plan is underway. This is the third phase of the HRMbyDesign process, which has already re-written the rules around development in downtown and Spring Garden areas.

The Centre Plan will result in the creation of a similar style of modern planning guidelines to downtown, but will cover all of the peninsula and Dartmouth inside the circumferential highway.

The Centre Plan will likely result in significant changes to what is allowed (and not allowed) on our main streets and in our neighbourhoods.

Meetings and public input will be sought throughout the next eighteen months.  Information and meetings will be posted on this website and sent out in my email newsletter.
