Halifax Ferry Terminal Refresh Project – Phase 2
Construction Funded in part by the federal government through the Public Transit Infrastructure Fund, the Halifax Ferry Terminal Refresh project aims to improve customer experience for those accessing ferry service. Halifax Transit is pleased to announce that construction on the second phase of work at the Halifax Ferry Terminal will begin the week of January 8, 2018, and will be completed in spring/summer 2018(corrected). Construction work will not impact ferry service.

Phase 2 of the work will include the complete renovation and upgrade of the men’s and women’s washrooms, as well as the introduction of a universal washroom facility. It will also include the introduction for an acoustic panel system to dampen sound in the passenger waiting area.
