On Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, it was my honour and unexpected privilege to deliver the convocation address to the Faculty of Architecture and Planning class of 2025.
I spoke to the graduates about the importance of evidence-based decision-making, standing by your values, and I included quotes from Congressman John Lewis, Kurt Vonnegut and Taylor Swift.
It was a tremendous honour and much fun to hang out with the faculty and participate in this important day!
It was an added and unexpected spice that this morning was also the morning Halifax Council debated and thankfully defeated the Mayor’s motion to kill the bike lane plan in Halifax.
