Visibility will discourage crime: school safety officer

The Daily NewsCitadel High has all the latest security features: surveillance cameras, only two points of entry, panic buttons and phones in the classrooms.
The long, wide hallways in the crescent-shaped building are the building’s most unique safety features, the province’s school safety officer says.
“There are no blind spots. You can see the full length of the school,” Halifax Regional Police Const. Mark Young said.
