I’ve never been more excited about the campaign, and I feel very excited about our prospects on Saturday.
While nine months of work by hundreds of people is coming to a conclusion we need to keep our nose to the grindstone for one more day!
Election Day: In person voting takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2012 (paper ballots only) from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
There are three polling places, at Gorsebrook JHS, Le Marchant St Thomas, and Citadel High.
You should have received a voter card that tells you where to vote, but if not, please visit http://www.halifax.ca/election/index.html to find out which one you can vote at. You can still vote if you have appropriate ID (check the HRM website for more details.)
Voting Issues: If you or anyone you know is having:
- trouble getting to the polls, and needs a drive
- difficulty being allowed to register and vote
- any other issue that may keep you from voting
then please call our election day hotline (open 8am to 7pm) at 982-3898 or if busy 800-4060 and someone from the campaign will help you.
Election Night Party: We have booked the Hub on Barrington so volunteers and supporters can watch the election returns, drink coffee and hot chocolate and eat various treats while we await the results! This is a booze free family friendly party, and many of our supporters are bringing their kids. Please come down and join us election night, more info here: https://www.wayemason.ca/election_night_party
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT, DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL US IF YOU NEED HELP TO VOTE!
