Crane Removal Update – Nova Scotia Government – October 10 2019

The cutting up and dismantling of the crane is scheduled to get underway Sunday, October 13.

To allow for this phase of the work to begin, residents in 11 additional units of the Trillium Building today received 48-hour notices from Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency to vacate their condominiums by 6 a.m. on Sunday.

We know this has been an extremely difficult time for many of you. But this next phase of work moves us much closer to getting the crane down safely.

Safety of the public and workers will continue to be the first priority.

The work area remains under a localized state of emergency.

Further information will be provided as soon as available.
